The pageantry around the Miami Boat Show culminates with putting fine luxury race craft to the ultimate test. With the ability of some boats to attain speeds in the excess of 200mph, capturing images of these breathtaking crafts requires a level of skilled and planning offered by BriteSide Studio. Skilled areal photographer Christian Meighan covered the races that lasted over three days. The total time in the air was around two hours. The boats traveled from Miami to Kay Largo with the helicopter crew in pursuit. Once arriving at Key Largo the boats docked for lunch and a break from back breaking speeds on the open ocean. Shortly after, the crafts continued on to Islamorada and the helicopter and crew returned to the heliport. A physical day in the air capturing amazing water crafts came to a close. Here are samples of the work BriteSide Studio provides from the first day of the Poker Runs.
